Larkwell Valley (2023)

Cornish hen is doing great on her eggs. All 9 look good, though there, I can't guarantee all have been candled. For all I know, I've candled the same 5 a few times as they shift around.

Going to candle the Phoenix hen tonight or tomorrow night and see if any look like they're developing. I know my Swedish is breeding, but I haven't seen anything yet in them.

Also narrowed the mystery green layer down to either my khaki or Rouen. They penned themselves up by accident and while stuck, a green egg appeared in the pen.

@Canadian Wind, how early can you usually see developments in your muscovy eggs? I wanna candle under A$$butt next time she's up, but don't want to stress her out if it's too early to even tell yet
You should be able to see something by day 5, 7 at the latest.

IKR? But it's just the baby's development that's slower, not when it starts.
Okay, cool. I'll check tonight if she gets up to say hi and see. I think it's been long enough.

Phoenix nest definitely should be hopefully

Can't tell anything yet. I get the gut feeling they're fertile, but won't know until I candle them again.

All 4 scovies are broody, poor Moose is being so patient. I keep seeing I'll have to seperate him from the mama's and babies, for how long? Until they're old enough to breed? Or just feathered? I'll be putting the Pekin back with him, so he won't be alone, and he can still see them all, but I know he's not going to be happy seperated
