Glad to hear the cat is finally down. Sad that she is probably not spayed though.

She might be. Our shelter is pretty good about everything being fixed once it's old enough and she is definitely old enough

It's very possible he did, but I know our shelter occasionally does 'barn cat' sales, so if they're from there, then they're all fixed or should be

Miss Kitty and Jack are at least a year now I think, since they were here last winter. Miss Big Tort is probably at least 1 as well, she doesn't look gangly like the other Miss does, or like Jack did last year, but I know some cats are just more box shaped too.

So short answer, no, but I'd guess between 6 and 18 months at a minimum, but they could be a couple years honestly. The only reason we even know our neighbor got cats is because they started showing up and we watched them go to his garage occasionally

Found another trail by the coops, but this one wasn't as long and wandering. They used my path for most of it, so the critter doesn't seem too concerned being by the house at night. I guess this could be whatever was hunting in the shed, since the shed is right by the house too

As for your unknown predator, do you have a trail cam? Possibility of camping out and hunting it? IS IT A WENDIGO??

Yeah. I'm not allowed to bring them inside, but I still feed them when the weather isn't great so they have something in their bellies. And I'd rather the two girls don't start hunting my birds. Jack possibly took out two bantams over the last year, and I'd rather that not become a common thing

It very well could be a wendigo.

We have one, but it's motion sensing, so the birds and just our activity will fill it up pretty fast. I'll mention it though
