Lash egg??

Just found this in the egg box

I'm so sorry. Going by pictures that I've looked at, it does look like lash egg. If you haven't trashed it yet, I know that some of the folks here will oftentimes ask you to cut into it and take a picture of the inside. Do you have access to a vet? I'll tag some folks that are always helpful with stuff like this

I’m a vet nurse so cutting it open would be a pleasure she hasn’t been well so this would explain a lot

Yep, I'm thinking you're going to be all excited slicing into this So you have access to antibiotics? I'm so sorry she's been unwell. From what I've learned sometimes a round of antibiotics are helpful, sometimes it prolongs the inevitable, and other times it does nothing. No matter what, I feel like she's in very capable hands. I wish you the very best.

It looks like lash material to me. Antibiotics may make her more comfortable for a while. If she's not been feeling well for a while, she probably has more of that material in there.
