Lash egg???

Aw, she is adorable, I hope she pulls through. If she gets out of this, get vitamins to put in there water and make sure to supply her lots of calcium and try and chip her egging production if you dont mind her not making eggs. Dirt bathing is a good sign! Any more weird poops? Or have they improved??
I’ve been giving the chick vitamin/electalyte mix in her water. Just a dab of it in a dish so I can monitor her water intake. I know she takes that stuff, but it’s questionable if she turns her nose to others like rooster booster mix (at least right now). Gotta take what I can get. Some have bulked up and are working bits of grass out. The color ranges from that deep sick green to a mossy green/brown. The grass must have been what the chunks plugging her crop up. They aren’t as watery or mucus-like that I have seen. If she chugs away at the water, then that’s about the only time I’ll see the watery poop. I just wish she’d eat more. She was a lightweight bird to begin with. She’s still showing little interest in her favorites like egg yolk and scrambled eggs. What chicken turns that down 🤣.

In the first picture it seems as if she is flareing her vent? Do you see this? That might be a sign of infection? If you know how to rinse there vent try that. 🤞
I did two epsom salt soaks and have been checking her vent. It’s been clean, dry, regular in color and the skin isn’t inflamed.

Okay, that might be a sign of egg bound. Right!? My chickens love that. If you have clovers try that its not the best, but at least it will give her something to digest... I know my hen ate that until the very end, you can also try: Mashed potato's, watermellon, corn bread, whole wheat bread. Does she seem to have been improving?

I would like to add, amox should help whatever is bothering her, so if you have that definitely try I heard Enrofloxacin is good too! Make sure to study Enro first tho!

Honestly , I’ve been trying anything within range of reasonable. I gave her a few bits of provolone just to try and she liked that. She did take some scrambled egg today. My daughter accidentally cracked an egg so I tossed it on the ground for them to go after and she really liked that. She was grazing with the others and picking at the dirt. Doing some wing flaps. She’s funny. When I brought her back inside she accidentally knocked water over. So, as I was cleaning that up she decided she was going to tour the foyer, part of the kitche and almost made her way to the living room rug 😮. I turn my head for one second and off she goes. Needless to say I have a lot of sanitizing to do. Thank god her feet were on the clean side. Although I would have laughed if there had been random footprints had she stepped in the water 😂.

Sounds like she is getting better, glad to know she is eating! Thats a sign she might be getting better! I feel like for her age, she is too young to die of reproductive isssues, does she lay every day? Has she been laying even with her sickness? Please keep me posted on her!

She only started laying recently. First egg was June 14. Not everyday. She hasn’t been laying while she’s been sick. This morning under her roost spot I have set up for her there was a little tiny white kitney bean shape with a string attached so I’m assuming that’s another lash egg:/ We have only had two days of the antibiotics twice daily adding calcium in the morning. Symptoms are gradually improving. Still have that dark green poop and lash egg material though.
