Last minute incubating!

I have never done that but if nothing happens by tomorrow I would find someone to tell you how to assist.

Well that's it. Over. Endex. 4/8. Three are fine and doing well. One is smaller and recovering in a segregated area in the brooder. The other three were pecking at her. She had to be assisted. The shells were to hard. She was the wrong way round in the shell. A fifth had to be assisted. She lasted a day and died in the incubator whilst drying out. The last three had quit early on but I couldn't see through the Shell whilst candling. I have two blue/red splash, one white and one black/red splash. Let's hope they are all hens!

I would say that my incubator was very problematic from the start. It struggled to keep the correct temperature and the humidity readout was way below what it actually was. It is a HHD(Chinese) incubator. I would strongly advise against anybody buying or using it. It could be good for recovery prior to putting chicks in the brooder but that is it.
