Last Photo You Took?

Unfair, as I have chicks and take lots of pictures of them. This is my son, Chichetta, and Olive. The next most recent picture was a dead roach at my school. It was huge.
Cute!

My husband and I made Kettle Corn as a "K" date - we are doing dates that go through the alphabet! One was pumpkin spice and the other was tajin seasoning. It turned out pretty okay, but we think that the sugar would spread more nicely if we use the Wok instead of a pot, and perhaps salt should be added to the sugar mixture, instead of trying to sprinkle it on afterwards.

I love this, it's such a sweet idea! I will definitely be stealing it.
My husband and I trade off deciding what we do for date night every week. The only rules are you can't get out of date night for any reason outside of illness or similar type emergencies, nothing involving watching TV or a movie screen can be chosen, and there is no vetoing the other's pick. I think adding your alphabet element to it will help us to come up with some even more creative ideas. Thanks for the inspiration!

I guess I should also post my photo...

It was actually taken moments ago for the scavenger hunt thread. My husband locked up the ducks a few nights ago, and because we have so many growing young ones it can be hard to get an accurate head count. As a result, two ducks were locked out of their coop for the night. The other one was fine, but something tried to get this poor boy, so I doctored him up and am keeping him in the tub for a few days. I guess whatever predator wrangled with him wasn't up for carrying off a hefty male muscovy. For the first couple of days he couldn't even stand, but he's up and walking again now!

Yes, take it! I first heard of it this year, I think it's a new-ish sort of trend or something, but it's really awesome for coming up with new, fun ideas and pushing you to do things you wouldn't do otherwise!

I took this photo today for a newsletter I have to send to all the volunteers of Renkums Beekdal upcoming weekend.

Renkums Beekdal is a beautiful national trust in the Netherlands near to where I live. Herfstfeest is a festive market at the visitors centre , to celebrate autumn.
