HOW do you find time to build this stuff??? Geez, you make me feel like a slug.
I got some wood from Wendy to build a brooder, but there just isn't time. Ed's working 7 days a week getting ready for some demo or other, so it's me and the kids. Since the kids have contracted the latest plague going around these hutches were a lifesaver. Not bad though, each hutch has 20 sq ft and both were a mere $25! I can't build them for that.
This group sure does generate a large amount of dust. I'm glad it's now confined to just part of the basement!
Cindy, i am SURE you are NOT a slug! Give yourself more credit! I build stuff at the expense of other things i should be doing.
My house really could be much cleaner and neater, but carpentry is oh so much more fun! LOL
You got a great deal on those hutches! I should look for deals, but then i would be on the computer too much. LOL Actually, i am going to use leftover lumber and hardware i already have, so my new cage shouldn't cost me anything---except my time. I am even planning to put little wheels/castors (salvaged from old carts) under it, so i can move my cage easily (a must in this house!)
