late hatchers come hatch along with us setting nov 12 to nov 20

-sigh- Hey guys. I have 1 out of 4 Serama eggs left. The other three never developed. I put an egg in that is about the size of a quail egg. It is half OEGB half Serama. I know a bad cross, but it will go to a friend who doesn't show. He just raises them for fun and doesn't sell them.

awww yay day 11 with the Cayuga eggs & 8 out of 10 are swimming around like crazy!! The one fridge egg, of 3 fridge ones(other 2 didn't develop), has caught up & looks like the others now!

As for the chicken eggs.... day 4 I hope I have at least 5 out of the 21 fertile and growing. I don't have high expectations, just thought -how wonderful it would be to have some little ones from my own birds

Hi! I'll join too! I set 8 BCM eggs on Nov. 17th. My first hatch! My husband said no more chickens but how can I not? This hatching is addicting! I had 3 quitters along the way but 5 seem to be doing great! They will be joking the 15 in the yard when they are old enough.

How exciting chicksooner! I am at day 15 of my first hatch. Wensday is lockdown, I candled last night and all 5 left fro the orig. 8 are still alive! Hatch day is Saturday and my husband thinks I am crazy! He wants to go buy trees for the yard on Saturday and I told him NO WAY. It's hatch day, are you serious? I can't leave the eggs!

The breeder has offered to resend for the cost of shipping. There was a mail delay so I am not sure who is at fault, but thankful that they will be replaced. On a better note, my Cochin eggs (12 buff barred, 1 white & 1 splash) went in to lock down on the 1st and I set 14 Coronation Sussex eggs on the 1st. as well.

2 of 10 peeps out. They are my buff orps first babies only they don't know or care. Thinking I am going to sneak them out of the bator since everyone else isn't due til tomorrow. Then again my brooder is not even set up yet so maybe they will just sit tight for another day.

Im going to lockdown on the 6th. My one little lonely egg... I really hope it will hatch.
