hi my pekin females are five months old and they are not laying eggs. they have nest boxes and a lot of hay piles. are they to young? One more thing i think they are pekins but they can fly all the way across our lake about five feet in the air. I need some duck expertise. Thanks

ok thanks they are just taking their time. do you know if my flying pekins could be duclair ducks?

i cant get a picture, but they are a little smaller than my male pekin and they have yellow beaks instead of orange

i got them from the tremendous tree nursery in sarasota florida the man said they were pekings and he had like 30 of them. I'll try to get some pics. I got them just to please my peking drake who just lost his original mate :hit at least he likes them. one more thing the peking drake is in charge of every one, i want my runners to mate with my pekings (maybe) so i can have a mix should i keep the peking drake locked up so the peking females and the runner males can be alone. sorry a lot of information

i didn't know pekings could even get off the ground with their chubby little bodies until i got the two females. thats why i think they might be duclairs?!?!
