Hi,
We are supposed to do 25 blocks and the color theme is spring so any extra fabric you have around would be good. Anyway this is my understanding.

I really like the idea of 25 blocks so I will end up with a nice sized quilt. And we have plenty of time to do a few now and then.
I'll bet it will go faster than you think! I am looking at a chicken block of some kind - maybe applique; that would be so cute!
And if they were scattered among flowers, trees, birds and other things, it should be great. I was thinking of doing my quilt with
5 blocks across x 6 blocks down, so will add a few to the 25 and then with borders, I can make it nice and big.
I am headed for a 2 week vacation next week and when I get back, I will get going on my chicken blocks.
Hopefully, the man in my life will be working on our chicken coop by then also.

Count me in please! I've hoped to join in on the others, but I keep getting there too late, LOL.

I too like the 25 blocks and ending up with a big quilt - DH & I need one for our bed.

My choice will probably be an applique, maybe a sunbonnet sue or a flower, something fairly traditional.

There are no rules on your cloth type, or even really colors, but I like spring, so think spring.

I don't mind if blocks are applique, block, design, plain, or even an embroidered 12 x 12, Its all good.

I'm going to be finishing up the first swap blocks this weekend. They are 6 x 5 appliqued chickens, surrounded with other chicken themed fabric (bugs/fencing/hens/roos/eggs/chicks/leaves/etc).

The ONE AND ONLY REQUEST I HAVE is that you PLEASE PRESHRINK YOUR FABRIC. We don't want any unexpected surprised with that first wash.
