Hello from San Antonio Texas. My wife and I live downtown SA and have been raising chickens for the last 12 years and really enjoy it.. I found this community when I was trying to find information about misting the chicken coop during hot weather.
We currently have four hens that are producing and living the good life.
One thing we do to help cool them off is give them frozen peas, corn and shredded carrots with grubs. They devour the treat. They also love watermelon a couple times a week.
