I just started with my chickens...yes a newbie..i have one Chantecler rooster, one hen of the same, Americauna blue hen, Brahma buff coloured hen, and a black with white headress Polish hen...they are all so pretty and I can't wait until they start laying..they are only a few months old except for the Americauna..she is about 6 months...and the Rooster...I have to keep him separate cause he attacks. The hens! Anyway, seems like everyone is so far away...would be nice to see someone else keeping hens in Quebec...I may want to trade my Rooster for a hen...more interested in eggs than hatchlings...and he does not like the flock! Maybe I can retry to introduce a hen to him when she is older...anyway love this site , still trying to make my way around!
