Lavender Orpington not laying

Good day all.
I have a lavender orpington who is just over a year old. She laid well into the winter then in January went through a light molt. I feel I have given her plenty of time to begin laying again but she hasn't. I free feed an 18 - 20 percent protein feed plus they get a bit of organic whole grain scratch and a scoop of meal worms in the morning when I let them out. I also will give them a pouch of abound cat food now and then since my cat won't eat it and the girls love it. My girl will sit in the nest box now and then, sometimes for hours but nary an egg to be found. She eats well, forages all day, has a full crop at night and empty in the morning, seems happy, sometimes tries to crow (both of them do, no rooster, terrible sound) sings througout the day. I don't know if she is trying to go broody or hit another molt or just what is going on with this sweet girl. Any ideas?

She may be laying in range area.

Free range birds sometimes need to be 'trained'(or re-trained) to lay in the coop nests, especially new layers. Leaving them locked in the coop for a week or so can help 'home' them to lay in the coop nests. Fake eggs/golf balls in the nests can help 'show' them were to lay. They can be confined to coop and maybe run 24/7 for a few days to a week, provided you have adequate space and ventilation, or confine them at least until mid to late afternoon. You help them create a new habit and they will usually stick with it. ..at least for a good while, then repeat as necessary.

I gave her a pelvic exam. She's closed up tight. Not laying at all. Her range is my backyard so it's easy to look around and make sure she hasn't hidden a nest. She's just plain ole not laying.
