I hope my babies get to be as nice as yours one day. I just bought them from a guy on here in Shelton, CT and I didn't raise or hatch them myself. I didn't know orp feathers had to be two inches from the gound. Can someone here post the APA standard for Orpingtons? Thanks!
 
On page 31 of the APA in "cutting for defects", it states the following:

Body and Fluff:
a) Orpington - Fluff within 2 inches or less of ground (cut 1-2 points)

It is not a dq, but could result in a loss at a show.
