I hope my babies get to be as nice as yours one day. I just bought them from a guy on here in Shelton, CT and I didn't raise or hatch them myself. So, I'll be interested to see what happens when I do it for the beginning etc... If I have no luck maybe I should see about intregrating some of your lines into mine?
 
On page 31 of the APA in "cutting for defects", it states the following:

Body and Fluff:
a) Orpington - Fluff within 2 inches or less of ground (cut 1-2 points)

It is not a dq, but could result in a loss at a show.
