Since we are talking about Lavenders here, and Lavenders are not an accepted color, I don't think it matters about that. The jest of the posts I assume are just wanting BIG and FLUFFY!

He is a beautiful boy, but I agree if we want to be able to show these based on the APA, we should breed towards APA requirements. If folks just want them as pretties in their yard, then it doesn't matter. I like a little of both, but the American standard is our goal, so we can get them accepted into the APA.

There are also pics of a dark blue bird - he's going to a new home.

Lastly some 2 month old birds that are confusing me on gender.....I am praying I have at least two girls but I'm afraid the one is a late developing boy
