Lavender Orpington Thread

I like your pic of the lavenders with one buff orpington. I did that too.
Well funny you should say that! He was actually a mottled and he grew out lavendar! I didn't want to breed from him so gave him away. But he was the first to hatch and I nearly lost it when I saw the yellow chick! I had bought them as hatching eggs.....so sometimes you never know. But they are growing up beautifully. It's still my favorite color

This is Earl, he's now 13 weeks old. His hackle and saddle feathers are beginning to get pointy. Pretty sure he is a he, even though I haven't heard any crowing yet.
 
I got 8 English Lavender Orp chicks, 4 weeks old.
I cannot wait until they are old enough to go in the coop!

They will add some color and size :)
My other gals are RIR and Comets.
 

The above is a hen I got she is now 4 months old very fem-my I got her separate from the 2 below because I thought they were male, only one was,


this hen I got last year she is very sweet. all from the same breeder.
