Well funny you should say that! He was actually a mottled and he grew out lavendar! I didn't want to breed from him so gave him away. But he was the first to hatch and I nearly lost it when I saw the yellow chick! I had bought them as hatching eggs.....so sometimes you never know. But they are growing up beautifully. It's still my favorite color

This is Earl, he's now 13 weeks old. His hackle and saddle feathers are beginning to get pointy. Pretty sure he is a he, even though I haven't heard any crowing yet.
Beautiful! i think i have 4 of the eggs developing! none of the jubes one started but looks like it quit.. and 2 of the lavs quit.. but i will be happy with just 1 girl if these all hatch!![]()
