Lavender Orpington Thread

My lavs are 10 weeks old tomorrow. Pretty sure I've got 2 cockerels and a pullet. The two boys chest bump and size each other up the way roosters do, which aside from the bright red comb and wattles, makes me believe they're boys. The girl is shy, very sweet, and has a gray face. Her tail is fluffy vs the boys who stick straight up.

Mine is an English Orp. She lays about 5 eggs (sometimes 4) a week. They're pretty dark in color with a pinkish coating.
She' just started laying in early Jan @ 8.5 months old.

My Lavender orpington is a very pretty hen...
her egg is the number 2. Not a super exciting color, but does add to the carton.
