She's beautiful and he's adorable! What is she mixed with? She looks pure orp to me!
Mom = Coronation Sussex; Dad - English Lav Orp. All the offspring looked like lav orps.
I only have a few LOs, but I love them. There are some on this thread who breed them, but please do post pics.So which thread on here is the "authority" on LO's? I mean, who knows the best quality, etc... I need to get new pics of mine, but I want some input on their quality.
You just have to ask the person you got them from and take their word for it lol the only way to know for sure is to buy directly from an importer of the English varieties but that costs big bucks lol. Your birds are beautiful, certainly better bred than average run of the mill Lav orps. I would love to see more pics of them!
My guess is that the one standing in the back is a male.
The one laying down looks like a male.
For us the friendly favorites always end up being boys, but I don't see anything shouting male in this one. Others have a lot more experience than I, and as you know, they can grow a lot from week to week. I wouldn't rehome any until you're sure.
Here is a few more! I am wondering if the little one in the bottom is a Roo? The breeder said he wasn't too sure. This is the youngest of the 4 and she is the least fearful? Maybe because we have really babied her?
