I will buy some baby chicks soon, but I live in San Diego, so I can't have a rooster. I really want to have the next generation of baby chicks. Is there a place in San Diego where I can drop off hens so that they will mate and have them back when their eggs are fertilized?

Next generation? Just buy more chicks. Do not do what you are thinking about, keep a closed flock Newcastle is real and I do not want to have to cll my flock if it gets outa hand.
