100% in agreement with you:(

Lori

You are in my thoughts - such a wonderful person - he was lucky to have you to love him - the outcome is VERY sad but at least he knew you were on his side and willing him to live - as we all were!

Bless you for being who you are!

Suzie

I just read the whole thread...........I'm so sorry he didn't make it. You were a trooper through his care, and I'm sure he knew it. RIP Kubota. You did good Lori.

I went home for lunch and my dad said Mr B called - he wanted to offer me my choice of his "banty" chicks for taking care of Kubota. I politely declined - with 16 large fowl I don't think I really want / need a bantam. Sweet I thought though.

He probably wouldn't know... he has another standard size roo and a bantam roo that I know of. Kubota was always in the bachelor pad except on occasion - like when he was hurt

thanks.

today I had to finish cleaning out the trailer, putting away the kennel and sorting good first aid supplies from those that got wet in the storm or stolen by dogs / mischievous yearling horses.

It was harder than I expected, so I went and cuddled poor bald booty Poppy - we both needed some support.
