Laying at Night?

I have purchased 31 birds 5 streight run roo's 7-redcaps hens 5-road islands hens 8-streight run hens 3- bantum hens no eggs 1-bantum roo 2- silkies booth roos i think not sure and at 5 1/2 months old receiving a dozen eggs a day from morning till 3:00 pm no later as of yet out of the 20 girls. The 5 road island hens once in a while they give large double yokers (highly recommend) these girls are rockin this sunday we will be losing 3 streight run roo's beer can chicken sounding pretty good right about now. That will leave me 28 birds in a 8x8 shed for winter

Past 2 mornings I have found and egg under the roost. My chickens have been laying now for about a month. I have 15 total 1 rooster. Getting around 3 to 5 eggs a day now. would it help to have a light with a timer on in the coop or could maybe they are still getting used to the egg laying? The 2 eggs I have found are not new small eggs they are coming from a hen that has laid several before?

I did some coop cleaning/rearranging, and put shavings instead of hay in the nest boxes. The eggs have been all over the place since, lol. I have found more in the coop floor and the run than in the boxes since I lowered them.
