Laying behavior

I set up the video to snoop on my hen laying breakfast

She spent a considerable amount of this time throwing hay on her back.
Anyone know what might be motivating this, or if it is normal.
I'm a fairly new chicken owner.
She was also very quiet during the laying process. I expected a bunch of noise!
 
There was a whole thread on hens throwing stuff on her back not too long ago...you could do a search for it! Seems to me that the general concensus was that it was an instinct to camouflage themselves while laying. As for noise...that's after!
