Laying Soon?

If you were looking at my profile photo, it was taken almost 2 months ago. Also, that's not Duck. If you think a photo of Duck's comb would help, let me know an dI'd be happy to get a recent photo! :)
 
Just because an EE has red earlobes, doesn't mean the eggs will be brown. They will most likely be green, which is just blue with a brown coating on top. (Which is why the insides of brown eggs are white, and the insides of green or olive eggs are blue.)
Comb type can also indicate, to some extent, the egg color. In Easter Eggers, If it has a peacomb, it will most likely lay blue/green, with a single comb it's usually brown eggs.
All my EE's had red ears and peacombs, and laid green eggs, which is typical.

I don't know if a picture of Duck will help, but she sounds cute--I wanna see! EE's are probably one of my favorite breeds for their rainbows of feathers and eggs!:love
