I love the first day or two after they come out of the bator, they're so not afraid of anything. After a couple days though they start running away but usually become friendly again as they mature. I have found though that it helps A TON if the brooder is big enough for you to sit in and let them come to you.

I've never had a problem with them attacking. The only duck I fear is my Pekin, Big Mama

Yep. I'll be culling quite a few. All the three month old crested females will be sold and I'll probably raise the boys for meat. I'd like to have around 20 females and 5/6 males.
