I would love to raise turkeys some day, But I heard they spread black head disease to chickens

I've heard that too, but I've heard of people who kept turkeys in with chickens. I bet that as longf as they doesn't GET blackhead it'd be fine. :/

Yeah.. I doubt they would get it. Turkeys are very interesting birds, my neighbors have them

I want blue slates, white Hollands and sweetgrass. The poults are SOO SWEET!
Mostly because they can barely see up close, BUUUUUT...... Still love em. XD

BB aren't the best if you want to keep them long term. They are very picky about temperature and things like that. They can also die of heart failure once they hit a year old. :/
