Lean-to build

I went out to try and do something but just giving the chickens a treat and some water wore me out. Two bouts of flu in one season and i am feeling beat up! So i ended up taking a nap. Wish i had some magic pills to fast forward to feeling well.

You and me both. Today I managed to get birds fed and collect the first round of eggs. I’m going to put together a lean-to of sorts as well. I have several 12 foot by 4 foot pallets. Mostly for shade and hawk protection in their yard.

Today i got the second half of the lean-to roof built.
I never try to get the dog in the picture, she is just always there!

She just wants me to stop working and throw the stick for her to fetch. I was trying to teach her to fetch a hammer but she is obsessed with sticks and bones.

I am hoping to get the roofing tin tomorrow, and some concrete. So i can finish up this project.

Good, since the dog needs to get out, and do some supervising. It's get you trained to throw that stick yet.

I got the tin but forgot concrete. Duh! I can jam a few rocks in to hold it i guess once i dig the holes. Need to dig holes for my 2 new pear trees!
