Sooo looking at this I'm wondering if somehow my female duckling is a pastel?? She was a yellow baby. None of my new hatch is yellow either so its so weird!

I guess this one is sort of yellow. But not as much as my first one. Almost lost this little one. Found him out of the nest and on its back the first day they hatched. Poor little thing couldn't hardly hold up its head or walk. Got it warm and showed it food and water. Kept it by itself for a while then put them all together with mom in the brood box (good advice from ravyn) and was good by the next day! It is still smaller than the others though and has the tiniest beak!

Yep, that's a blue fawn... if male, will look like dad... if female will look just like that, mostly...

Yes, you have a pastel from your first hatch... *I think* your grey duck might be carrying a hidden copy of blue... only explanation I can think of...

Also a blue fawn... blue fawn is the grey pattern with 1 copy of blue added... pastel is the grey pattern with 2 copies of blue added...
