Wear them, self expression rocks. My 11 yr old SD wears black nail polish and one fingerless glove, I think you can get away with some leather pants.

We live in a small town. My son is a Senior in HS. There are 32 people in his graduating class. He has rocked, green, teal, blue, and bright red hair this year. His hair is long and often hair sprayed to stick up all over his head to look like he just rolled out of bed. He wears skinny jeans, button down skull covered funky shirts, vest, hats, every odd shirt he can get his hands on. We encourage it. He is a National Honor Society student in all AP classes. He's a great kid. It's how he feels comfortable. He has green hair in in Senior pictures. He offered to dye it back if we wanted him to for the pics, we said no, be yourself.

Do what makes you feel comfortable and confident.

I wore them from 19-22, so why not? I wore mine with heels or some heeled boots, depending on rain. Hmmm speaking of which, I need new kitten heels.

My kids go to a very very small school preschool all the way to high school in one building,my youngest daught at the time was goth and a chearleader...
