its all those darn feathers on their legs - two of us took them(the bands) off and I had never banded all of them, so lost track of how many actually had them on. That is part of the reason I was taking them off in the first place. GRRR!
Anyway last night he was still limping a little and when they would stop moving he would hold that leg up. He does seem to be better though. Looks like he might have a permenant indentation in his leg.
This poor guy is also my one that got picked up by a falcon with a hatchmate then dropped. Right after that all his white spangles grew in so my husband named him Rogue.

Just checked his leg - the indentation is lessened but is definately gonna leave a scar. He doesn't walk with a noticeable limp this afternoon but still runs with one. Has quit laying down when they get to their random destinations. Still lifts the leg up to take weight off of it occasionally. I think he will be OK. I keep giving him extra raisins and kisses and telling him I'm sorry. I think he only tolerates it for the raisins...
