This little guy hatched this afternoon about 1:30. He can walk a few steps and then his legs go out to the sides. Just wondering since he isn't very old yet will they get better or do i need to do the bandaid thing and hope they go back. I did it to a pheasant last year and it worked. This is my only silkie i got to hatch out so i don't want to lose him.

Looks like classic splayed legs to me. You can search "splayed legs" for ideas how to fix it.

Basically though. You take a bandaid and tape the two legs together at the right distance and that way the muscles can get oriented right so it can stand.

Edit: Example of after tape.

agree.

vitamins in water might help..

you might want to try some of that rubber-like
kitchen cabinet liner for non skid and better 'grip" for the feet.
