Leg problem

    This turkey poult I just got has something wrong with its leg. Can't tell if it's broken or something else. Whe it try's to walk the leg just flips outward. Comments? [​IMG]

    It looks like a slipped tendon. I'm not sure that you can treat it successfully, since many chicks with these disorders have to be put down. I would Google "slipped tendon in a chick," and read a few articles on how to put the tendon in place and splint it with vet wrap. Add poultry vitamins to the water. From your picture it almost looks like the hock tendon has ruptured. Poor little poult. I wish I could help more.
