You may want to look into the breed possibilities more. That is not likely an EE or a leg bar egg. The brown bird may be a leghorn cross. A leghorn running makes my girls call them road runners. They lay white eggs, but a cross could lay light brown.

Absolutely. The brown egg just added(?) to my questioning of their breed. Although the EE (Gouda) could just be a brown egg layer and we gained no extra knowledge about Macaroni.
