Leghorn hen or rooster?

So this one decided to crow yesterday, I have it inside the shed today with the others and it didn't crow today, I'm hesitant to call it a rooster since I have read that hens can crow and this one doesn't seem to have the rooster tail, any suggestions?

I wouldn't. There have been many threads here where the OP told the horrific story about how they found their beloved rooster dead after choking because the bird tried to swallow something too large to pass by the collar or because it was on too tight.
Can't you advertise him and rehome him? I've done that with 8 cockerels/roosters. All went on to be flock leaders or pets.

That's awful that the collars kill, I think I have someone who would be able to take him

He is indeed male.

I wouldn't touch a crow collar with a barge pole.
I have also seen some pretty nasty stories about them.

Hope you can find the guy a home.
