Leghorn Mystery Hatch- whose your daddy??

What breeds make up the brown leghorn? I’m going to pull the eggs out of the garbage and evaluate them.
So apparently she was setting on these! I tried to wash them and they are not white. So can’t be her eggs. I put 2 white eggs there for comparison. This is a bigger mystery than we realized. Not only did this brown leghorn go broody and set on eggs, she hatched out someone else’s babies! We have no clue who the mother or daddy is. 🤦‍♀️

Well with the chicks being all black, and you only have the two roosters described, I expect the mother is a black hen who lays brown eggs. Do you have any like that? :)

When I zoom in on the pic, some of the chicks appear almost very dark brown or chipmunk pattern, is that possible? Or are they all exactly the same color?

Ive got a wide variety of hens! Silkie, salmon Favorelles, Leghorns, welsummer, Jersey giants, Swedish flower, sapphire gems, true blue whitings, orpingtons, and a few others. We enjoy all the colorful eggs and personalities 😊
Do you have pictures of your Swedish flowers? What color are your orpingtons?

All the chicks should be barred from the breeds of the fathers, but those chicks don’t appear barred. Can you post pictures of the possible fathers?
