One of my WL hens comb has gotten very thin and just lays over the side of her face and her wattles are thin as well. They are still red but not as bright as they used to be. The comb and wattles on my other WL seem to be normal (floppy but has thickness). What would cause this?

Both of my year old brown leghorns have combs that lay over to the point that they can only really see well out of one side.

They seem perfectly healthy.

The comb is not always a good diagnostic symptom in and of itself but you do mention the bird has become extremely thin. This is a significant indicator that something is definitely not right but without more info (feed housing environment /temps/ age of bird / does the bird free range> has she ever been wormed etc.) then I could not even make a guess at what might help you.

I had a leghorn like that. It's normal, it just flops over the face and eyes. It's a sign of a good layer.
