Glad to hear your babies are in the "ugly" stage! Can't wait to see them!

I have had successful hatches in the past with saddle air cells so we will just wait and see.

If this is an unsuccessful hatch, I will definitely be willing to buy from you again! You are a great person to buy eggs from and I appreciate that!

I never offer eggs for sale until I hatch the same eggs I'm selling. I want to be sure about fertility & hatchability. I can't factor in shipping but if we start with a good product the percentages are higher for a good hatch.

I just did my 2nd candleing. I am on day 8. It looks as if I have 4 babies for sure and possbly 5. The other eggs were clear. But I would be extremely happy if I could get 3 or 4 to hatch! Keep your fingers crossed! I will not be candleing again till day 18. JEN

Things didn't turn out well here for the Lemon Blue eggs. I'm bummed... I was looking forward to the cochins, even if I wasn't lucky enough to get a Lemon Blue.

I had 7 Lemon Blue eggs in total set. 4 didn't start development, 1 died before day 5, and the last one died before day 7 or so. Bummer. Not a single developed chick. Poo.

I did have a Golden Cuckoo hatch though, and a Salmon Fav, so it wasn't a completely busted sitting.

Better luck to the rest of you! Share pics of your babies when you can!

I cannot tell you how friendly mine are. The March 30th hatch are just unbelievable. They want attention 24/7. They crawl all over my arms when I am cleaning the cage & just stomp & scream if I'm in the room & not paying them any attention.

Right now they look like little dinasuars with their long legs, half fuzz & half feathers. I already have one pullet who is starting to get gold in her mantle. This is the earliest this has happened. Normally they don't color up til about 4-5 months. My only concern is I think I have 7 roos! OMG

I am so sorry you didn't get a hatch out of both sets of eggs I sent. I feel bad about this situation.

I'm wondering if one of the causes is your PO. I've never had eggs take 4 days to get delivered except for your 2 shipments. I also haven't had any break, except for the ones I sent to you.

Please accept my sincere apologies for this unfortunate situation.
