I apologize for not taking the time to read this entire thread, but I thought I'd post while I'm thinking of it so as not to forget for the future -

Do you have a waiting list for Lemon Blue eggs?

I couldn't get them now, but this Fall or Winter would be very tempting. That would give me time to get settled with my current flock and maybe get an incubator. I am SO IN LOVE with this coloring and I've been dying for cochins since the first day I thought about getting chickens many years ago. Your birds are SO GORGEOUS I can't stand it.

Please let me know if I have options for the future.

O.k., you have my attention. I have tried to ignore this thread in hopes that it would disappear. It ain't disappearin'. Have you ever sent eggs this far, GA. How'd they do? I think I'd like to hop on that fall waiting list.

Gee, put me on the list too, for next Spring!

Your birds are GORGEOUS! Do you ever make any trips to the Sacramento or the Bay area? All I've been reading about how eggs are handled in shipping is scary!! Or do you have anyone up here around mid-Cal that are working on your Lemon Blue project?

They really are the prettiest things I've ever seen!

Ok here are the 4 out of 6! (two still drying off in the bator)

#6 needed help out of the shell (I know, bad me for interfering but I was gone all day and there was no humidity in the bator so poor thing was shrink wrapped and he/she was half way out! So

and hoping it makes it!

#7 was a goner...

Just wondering....could they come out non-feathered feet? I am looking in my brooder and there is none that have feathered feet but i have a empty LB egg and one that is blue and yellow. The rest are fully black and Barred EE's. Either way, I am so in love with it!

As far as I know they should already have feathers on the feet and legs. Sometimes it might take longer for them to feather but you should see signs of feathers. That's is just from my experience with my two hatches plus all of the Cochins that I have bought through the hatcheries.
