EGGS ARE HERE!!! 3 of them have broken air cells, but all the rest are in tact. 2 of them have little black dots floating in them though. I wonder if one of your hens was sitting on them? I am going to mark thoes ones and see what happens with them. Wish me luck! I'll candle on day 5 and let you know! Thanks so much! JEN

I also have 2 Eggs that had black dots in them since Day 1. I marked them and watching them patiently. Tonight is Day 7 so I will see. 4 out of 8 are developing for sure! I am really crossing my fingers for these cuties!

Please let me know if these eggs are developing. It's certainly a mystery to me. I never candle before setting eggs. I wait until day 7. The hatch I had on March 30th all candled fertile on day 7 but I don't know if any of them had black spots. Out of the 18 eggs I set, 15 hatched & the other 3 quit somewhere before hatch date.

Let me know.....
 
The dark sopts could be a blood spot or a meat spot. Its so hard to tell with the darker shell eggs. I am very excited about them though. I am glad that they did not show up with all broken air cells. I have bad luck with shipped eggs. So I am hopeful! They are going in my incubator now. I let them rest over night. JEN
