Here are my five lemony chicks. Yes, I carry them in a bucket.

The three heads on top all have notable combs that are starting to blush. The bottom two do not have this. How safe am I in looking to re-home the three that look like roos? What are the chances that I might give them away and they turn out to be hens, while the two on the bottom turn out to be roosters?

Also, I know that Orpingtons are supposed to have white skin (these do) and pink feet. These birds have yellow feet, but I have also noticed that pics of LCO chicks from the breeders' sites show yellow feet for juvenile birds. Older birds show pink/grey on the feet. At what age do the feet change color?

i see 2 that i would watch for being cockerels the one in the very back half under the group and the one in the middle of the 3 in a row
