Lemon Meringue Pie & Key Lime Pie Thread!!!!!!

This thread is for THESE TWO TYPES OF PIE SPECIFICALLY!!!!!

I’m sure there are other threads on other types of pies and if not, I might make one eventually, but right now, I am curious about only these two specifically. LOL

These two being LEMON MERINGUE and KEY LIME!!!!!

I personally LOVE both of them but ESPECIALLY lemon meringue!!!!!

So I am curious…

Funny thing is I don’t normally really like citrusy stuff either, like I don’t really like oranges too much, but I love both of these lol and especially lemon stuff lol lime stuff is hit or miss for me but key lime pie is really good lol and I like mandarin oranges.

I LOVE citrus! Lol. I made a lemon meringue pie with my fresh eggs and without having egg whites or yolks left over (I hate it when that happens), it was really pretty good, a little to sweet in the crust and souring in the filling but super good.

This is it when still in the oven, I might make another for thanksgiving and get better pictures

Oh I also forgot to add that I koi do of made up the recipe, I used a suggestion of a recipe without measurements from byc, then my normal meringue that I make and kind of looked at a New York Times recipe for gram cracker crust. Here’s the recipe I wrote it out fancy to put in my egg stand to encourage buying eggs.
