LES and unhappy chickens

If you live in an area that is effected by Lake Effect Snow, you'll know what I'm talking about--one minute the sun is shinning the next it is snowing so hard you can't see ten feet in front of you. At any rate it was nice an sunny when I opened the pop door so the birds came out and scattered--20 minutes later a squall hit and they were all over trying frantically to get back inside. I'll probably have to make a nose count tonight to see it they all made it but those that were caught in it were sure unhappy campers. I'm sure I was being referred to in some very unprintable language.

We have a saying here that "If you don't like the weather in Washington, just wait 15 minutes."

I guess with LES, better wear your snow boots at all times because you only have ONE minute of warning!

Awww, your chickies will forgive you- that is if you dig them out tomorrow morning for their breakfast!
