Let’s Talk About Bird Flu

The CFIA is holding it against the farm that they haven’t provided any legitimate evidence that the birds are involved in research but that very hard to do considering the CFIA will not even allow them to their own testing.
There are numerous aspects that warrant further research, like to see if the birds are still carrying and shedding the live virus, testing for antibodies, if the birds no longer have antibodies “which would free them of the threat of euthanasia but which actually has far worse consequences, and if they’re free of antibodies investigating why, as in if it’s something to do with the nature of the virus “immune amnesia” or specifically with the ostrich immune system.

The CFIA essentially wont allow them to research the ostriches but is blaming the farm for it while refusing to test themselves.

On the other hand if the CFIA actually went forward with testing and research themselves the ostriches basically become research subjects of Canada and the farm has no say in what becomes of the ostriches either.

Isn't Socialism wonderful???
