Let Me Draw Your Chickens!

I am in love with all these chickens!! I'm going to try and do at least one per person
I will be gone during the day tomorrow, but tomorrow evening I'll be back to drawing again. I'm really in the mode right now!

They uploaded out of order but that's okay.
First I did @Pyxis gorgeous Cemani rooster, then the frizzle. Frizzles are quite the challenge, I'm going to have to work on that more
Then while I did my own ISA Brown as I gained some motivation to draw her.
I plan on trying an Emu later I've never drawn one before!

Something I've always done is draw things with different techniques. For the frizzle I used really quick sweeping motions for the feathers. For the Cemani I did a simplified feather pattern. For my ISA I did really faint feathering so it wouldn't overwhelm the viewer's eyes.

Since you want to draw chickens, here's a story of my hen & its chickens that kinda has a nostalgic memory for me. I haven't brought myself to look at the pics until I saw your post because it was quite painful.

I've never really have been drawn to the naked necks, but this one is gorgeous! That blue skin and that tuft on her head is adorable. We must have the same hairdresser!
