Let me introduce myself

[Anne the chicken lady]

Hello fellow chicken lovers!
My name is Anne I got my first chickens, being 5 mixed egg layers. This is where I can say I took on an obsession!
I successfully hatched in an incubator 6 little chicks, 2 Aracuranas, 2 olive eggers, a Moran and a little Belgium Bantam who didn't survive past day 3.

I regularly visit a country livestock store where I regularly come out with more chicks
So to add to the rest of my chickens i also have 3 Australorps and 2 Barbu d'Uccle and I pick up 3 Leghorns with 3 chicks tomorrow.
My family now calls me the chicken lady!
I'm looking forward to reading the stories and advice as well as asking questions.

Welcome Anne! Yep chicken math is real and in my case my wife thinks I am crazy. So far I have done addition, subtraction and am now working on the multiplication portion of it. I went into the coop last night I had a bad premonition and closed the coop and run doors last night for the first time in over a month and saw how empty my roost space looked and got to thinking I need more.......
