Let me see your birds!!

This is my hen that we just call Mama hen. She has a ton of chicks even though she’s old. She’s a mix.

This hen is one of my favorites. She doesn’t have a name but she currently has 6 chicks.

This is a chick of Mama Hen. She kicked him out early, because he had seemed to have a paralyzed leg from an attack from a rooster. He’s learned to deal with it. He hops around and even beat up the rooster who attacked him. We have another rooster but I just can’t find him right now as he roams free with the others. Uwu <3

Haha omg. We have a rebel as well. Though he doesnt go outside of the fencing, he will perch in a tree at night instead of staying in any of the coops we have for them.

Careful... I've lost a few that way. It's fun to watch, but they have no defenses at night. Mine (like yours probably are) were way up higher than I could get them down so really nothing I could do about it. I believe an owl or a raccoon finally did them in (had two like this).

Your mama hen looks like a great mother. Like the perfect one.
And that rooster is very handsome. And that kind of story makes me happy. Esp wince he kick the roos butt.

Freebie is my favorite. My boss thinks it needs its own facebook page lol.

Nugget is my husbands favorite just because of his size. He's just now a year old and 2ft 2in not including his comb. Sweet bird though.

Haha maybe you should!

And awe. Thats so cute

Oh trust me. We are upset but hes too high for us. He is hidden in the leaves at least. We get off work at 1 am and check them. He randomly started doing it. I am surprised an owl hasnt gotten him yet.
We both said theres nothing we can do. If he feels safe up there instead then whatever. Plus im more worried about the bear that came and tore up all the trash.
We sat up a bunch of cameras and continue to constantly check them.

Also hopefully since I got awarded the bid for 1st shift and my boyfriend got 3rd shift, maybe I can stop this routine of his once I get on 1st. For now I cant do much. We named him rebel tho now.

These two pals are 11 weeks.
Sapphire Gem and what was sold as an Ameraucana. I did some searching on Ameraucana but can't figure out what color variety she is. What do you all think?
