Depends on how hot you like your salsa. My family is texmex, the hottest of the Mexican food.

4 jalapeno minimum per quart of salsa around here.

You have a food processor? I have the best salsa recipe on this planet:

2 cans of hunts diced tomatoes with sweet onion
1 bunch cilantro
1 red onion
1 jalapeno
1 yellow pepper

Toss it all in the food processor and hit GO. After it is blended, cover the top with a CRUST of Lawrys garlic salt with parsley. Blend again. VOILA. The best salsa on this planet.

sounds good but no lime? Must have more peppers than that too..we eat HOT HOT food here. Almost as bad as Indian peppers.

Oy...DD can't have the Lawry's bt that is some gooooooood stuff!

If it isn't hot hubby won't eat it. He snacks on jalapenos like most folks eat potato chips.

This is my recipe. You may want to add more tomatoes I am guessing because I just throw it together. Makes a big helping as well. Three Pepper meddly Salsa:
4 or 5 diced tomatoes
One sweet onion diced
One white onion diced
4 jalapeño peppers
2 or 3 cerrano peppers
One or two pablano peppers depending on the size bigger only use one.(all these peppers are also diced and added seeds and all)
Cilantro added to taste. (remember a little goes a long way)
2 limes cut and squeezed
2 chopped cloves of garlic
Some salt and black pepper to taste.

When it is done it has what I like to call a slow burn. You won't taste the hit right away. Starts to hit when you are about to swallow it.
