I have a 1 week old chick. He was shrink wrapped in his egg and couldn't move. We started helping out 24 hours after he pipped. The chick had curled toes and later got pasty butt. I couldn't get him to eat so I had to wet his food down. Finally he ate. We fixed his toes and he doesn't have pasty butt anymore. His egg was a lot smaller than the other eggs. 3 other chicks hatched. They all had really big eggs. The chick is half the size of the other chicks and doesn't have very much energy. What should I do? Is he okay?

Is it just the picture or is his beak actually huge for his head? I would get him some nutri-drench or sav-a-chick and give it to him.

His beak is a little big, but it looks worse in the picture

Also my incubator malfunctioned on day 19 and cooked all, but 4 eggs. I had almost 40 eggs in it. Would this be part of the reason this chick has had a rough start?
