Hello all! I wouldn't dub this an emergency, but it is an ongoing situation I am keeping my eye on.
I have 6 pullets that are almost 10 weeks old- 2 RIR, 2 Barred Rock, and 2 Wyandottes. One of the BR has always been a bit of a runt. History: At 4 days old it was super wobbly and couldn't really stand, it would act like it was very dizzy and just kinda run sideways and fall over like she couldn't catch her balance (search "dizzy bat" on youtube, lol). I gave it some NutriDrench and held it upright with its legs in the right position a couple times that day and it never had a problem after that- seemed equally perky and healthy as my other chicks. Cut to present-day: I let the girls out to free range in the back yard last weekend for the first time and I noticed she wasn't as interested in it as the others, she would just lay near the run gate and looked really tired- closing her eyes and even shaking/trembling a little. She eventually did venture out a little bit but was just very slow about it, and again just looked kinda tired the whole time. When they're all out and about she will come out but doesn't really keep with the rest of the flock, sorta slowly does her own thing, and then goes back to the roost at least 30 minutes before everyone else. She still always seems to be a little slow moving and kinda trembly- I've seen her eat, drink, and poop- all normally. Any ideas about what could be going on with her or anything I could do to give her a bit of a boost? The biggest concern I have is the trembling, it's almost like she gets the chills or something- seems like an uncomfortable behavior.
