Not always.Coccidiosis has bloody stool..
Laying down It's not a good sign and it probably means that she is already dying. No mites. Just checked her again. She’s not squatting, she’s been laying down
Well that sucks. I'd prefer to see the symptoms. Thanks for the info..Not always.
Just so you know... Crop issues are most always a secondary problem.Well that sucks. I'd prefer to see the symptoms. Thanks for the info..
Just like humans..we do something to cause something..Just so you know... Crop issues are most always a secondary problem.
Usually caused by something else.
No new birds in over 2 years. We’ve never dewormed them. They free range from sun up to sundown. I do give them feed: BOSS, whole oats, cracked corn and diatomaceous powder.Laying down It's not a good sign and it probably means that she is already dying.
Coccidiosis not likely in a bird that is 3 years old unless you have brought new to you birds home in the last few months.
If you have brought new birds in it is possible you brought a new strain of coccidia in could be a problem and it would be the easiest cheapest thing to try and cheapest thing to treat for.
Have you brought any new to you birds home in the last few months?
What exactly do you feed your flock on a daily basis?
Have you ever dewormed them?
Can you get clear pictures of her?
You feed only these treats mentioned above? No new birds in over 2 years. We’ve never dewormed them. They free range from sun up to sundown. I do give them feed: BOSS, whole oats, cracked corn and diatomaceous powder.
They free range all day and we have a feed that consists of BOSS, cracked corn and oats. It’s the same feed since they got off the chick feed. You feed only these treats mentioned above?
This is nowhere near a balanced diet and if you're only feeding these three things then this is why your birds are suffering.
